Shropshire Down's Syndrome Support Group
Shropshire Down’s Syndrome Support Group is parent-led group offering support to families who have a connection with Down’s Syndrome. We aim to bring these families together to give mutual support, share experiences and to learn from each other.
Who are we?
Shropshire Down's Syndrome Group is a group of families who have a child, teenager or young adult with Down's Syndrome.
What do we do?
The committee organise regular free events and outings as a way of getting together and having fun, with a chance to catch up with friends, both old and new. We always try to have a variety of events so that there will be something on offer for everyone throughout the year. We also partner with a number of organisations who provide events, days out, information and equipment.
We hold committee meetings every 2 to 3 months and an annual general meeting at the end of each year. These meetings are open to any group members and we welcome new ideas for get together etc.
